More than 140 years ago, Gamma Phi Beta was humbly founded by four collegiate women seeking support in a world that had yet to support independent woman. Together, the founding sisters of Gamma Phi Beta, Helen, Frances, Adeline and Mary formed the first-ever “sorority.”

Over the passing decades, Gamma Phi has continued to support and strengthen women across the world, impacting the lives of more than 195,000 sisters to date.

Here in Houston, our amazing alumnae chapter is made up of sisters from coast to coast seeking the same support, family, and fun we found in our collegiate experience.
